Reflection question: There are many powerful moments in this chapter. Jesus' feet get anointed. He rides into town and palms are waved. He predicts his death. What frame of mind do you think Jesus is in throughout this chapter? Are there any clues?
Jesus is ready to be the eternal sacrifice. He lets his feet be anointed, he predicts his death, the voice came from heaven for us. All pointing to his crucifiction and sacrifice for us. He knows what he is on earth for and that the time is near. Yet he is a willing sacrifice.
