Day #42 {Tuesday}

Reflection question: There's a lot of chaos in today's chapter.  Where have you found moments of peace so far this week?  We had a pastor meeting this morning in Rochester and it began with a time of worship.  It was truly peaceful!

  1. Wow! First God uses Babylon to destroy Judah and now he is going to destroy Babylon. Somehow that doesn't seem fair. Peace. I thought the service on Sunday morning with the choir singing and everyone anticipating Holy Week to be very peaceful But my most peaceful moment so far this week was my nap on Sunday afternoon. I was laying in my living room in the sunshine. I get to craving the sun this time of year. I am ready for spring to spring already.

  2. Peaceful moments do not seem to have occurred for me yet this week except for in moments of sleep. A relaxing vacation turned into a stressful return home beginning with a delay at the airport, and literally a race to make a connection flight. Almost didn't make it. Since, the week has been crazy trying to settle back in. I cannot wait for the weekend although that too is looking to be crazy filled, but at least that will be enjoyable. As for moments of peace, the only ones I have found have been during sleep which I can't even remember. And it was peaceful taking the time today to read the chapter in Jeremiah even though it was filled with chaos.

  3. I have found peace in the last few days with attending the Holy Week story at Autumn Ridge on Sat--unbelievable acting and singing. I find peace in my cozy,loft area where I read, pray, have my computer and my rocking chair. It was peaceful walking our golden retrievers with the full moon shining down as we headed home tonight from out walk. I find that I have to do an attitude adjustment sometimes to allow peace to reign, especially when there are unsettling circumstances. I know the attitude adjustment comes from the Lord prompting me to change I do not feel peace when I read so much bad news especially when innocent people and animals are hurt and exploited.
