Day #15 {Wednesday}

I am so thankful for the love of Christ.  Even though I am a sinful, judgmental, and uncertain human being, God still loves me.  Thanks be to God!  Do you feel the same?

Each day - I rejoice more and more  in the undeserved love that Jesus offers everyone!

Another reason I am so thankful to be reading Jeremiah....
it helps me realize how shocked people must have been by Jesus approach to life and faith.
Jesus really does have a different approach than what is described in much of Jeremiah.
People must have been outraged - thinking, "Who is this guy offering everyone forgiveness, healing, and love?!?!  Who does he think he is?!?!"

Thank you, God, for Jesus!

Reflection questions:
1. In verse 21, God says that he will teach the people.
God teaches us so much every day.
Where do you feel like you learn the most about God?

  1. Thanks for all the pictues of Jeremiah. I like to see what the picture will be everyday. I agree it gives us a picture of what the people of Jesus day thought about God. Jesus message surely was radically different. I am so glad we live in a time after Jesus birth, death and resurection. Where do I learn about God? I learn in church, circle, and personal bible study, but I also learn in nature, at work, with family. God is great.

  2. I feel that God teaches me in so many areas-- he teaches me through the scriptures with his words, he teaches me through others who reflect Christ, both in biblical times and today. He teaches me when I am tired, by his promise to carry my burden because his yoke is light, .He teaches me when I am quiet and listen for his revelations. In addition he teaches me when I am in the valleys because that is where the growth takes place, not on the mountain tops which are brown, I am so very thankful that I have a Savior who pursues me so radically, even when I am resistant to teaching, when I am prideful and when I try to go it alone. Hope is my favorite word, and I am so thankful that my hope is in Christ, my Rock and my Redeemer.
