Reflection question:
-There were a variety of beautiful verses in today's chapter.
Which did you enjoy most? I liked verse 14: "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;

save me, and I shall be saved;
for you are my praise."
I really like the verses 7-8. I also recall similar verses from the very first Psalm. But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream, It does not fear when heat comes, its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
ReplyDeleteHow encouraging that when I trust in the Lord, he will sustain me, and keep me viable, even when there are seasons of drought in my life. And the best thing is that it is not just a possibility, it is a promise. Thanks be to God.
Annie says it for me too. I love God's promises.
