Reflection question: Jesus often speaks of the Advocate who will come after him. This refers to the Holy Spirit. In what places to you most feel the presence of the Holy Spirit? Worship? Work? Nature? With family?
Again Jesus says "I tell you the truth". He so wants the diciples to believe in him. I love verse 31, "You believe at last!" Can't you just feel how excited Jesus is that the diciples finally believe? My version of the Bible uses "Counselor" instead of Advocate. I feel the Spirit in many places in my life. I feel the Holy Spirit guiding me at work. Some days I just know when to walk into an operating room to help with a problem. Or when I am called for a problem and by the time I get there it is fixed. I feel the Spirit working in my life. Or I need to write a difficult note and God gives me the words, literally. Worship, nature, Bible reading are all ways that the Spirit fills me. I love being out in my woods working or just enjoying a fire. It feeds my soul.
