Reflection question:
-There are so many beautiful words of promise in this chapter! At our Stewartville ministerial meeting today, we did some planning for the community Good Friday service. One of the readings that day will be Jeremiah 31:31-14. How do you relate those verses to the good news of Jesus?
I see the words in verses 31 and on to talk about how God will look at our sin differently. He will forgive our sin and remember it no more. Jesus is coming that we can have grace. I love these words of restoration with the people of Isreal.
ReplyDeleteI think it means that God has given us a new covenant through Jesus Christ and his dying on the cross for our sins. He has written his love and grace in our hearts. We are no longer bound by the law, and lots of dos and don't where people lived in fear. The good news is that we are free in Christ. He paid the price for us, once for all. I am deeply humbled that Christ willingly went to the cross for me, and for all of us. Without Good Friday, there could be no Easter. Amazing grace for surel
