Reflection question: What do you think it means to take refuge in God? What do you imagine might have been happening in the Psalm writer's life when he/she wrote this?
To take refuge in God means to me that I can find comfort, shelter, and peace when I pray and imagine God's loving arms around me. It sounds to me like the author is getting attacked by those around them. But the author is staying strong with God and feels the support of God in doing so.
