Day #23 {Thursday}

Reflection question:

-This sounds like a very frightening time for Jeremiah.  The people want to put him to death!
He continues to proclaim God's word.  What do you do when you're feeling most worried/afraid/fearful?

  1. I try to pray, remember scripture that is comforting, but I have to admit that sometimes I worry about the situation or the potential outcome. I think it is sometimes easier to rely on God when there is absolutely nothing I can do to change things, than it is when I have some control. Of course God wants us to rely on him at all times. He gives us scripture and commands about not worrying. If he takes care of the birds of the air, and the flowers of the field that are here today and gone tomorrow, how much more is he going to care for us. And because he is a personal God, he knows our worries and concerns before we even verbalize them, I don't have to keep picking them ane ruminating on them over and over, Praise God that he knows every detail of our lives and still cares for us.
