Psalm 27

Reflection question: There are verses of this Psalm I have shared with folks who are in the hospital or struggling through a difficult time.

Verse 14 encourages us to "Wait for the Lord" - when is waiting easy?  When is waiting difficult?

  1. I love verse 10, "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me." So I read that as no matter who leaves me God will be with me. Even if I am all alone in this world, God is there for me. Waiting is seldom easy for me. It is difficult when we want answers and none are coming. Cancer, Job loss, Children making unwise choices. All times when we want things to change and ask God to be with us. But then we have to wait for his answers.
